    Local Plan: Joint Core Strategy

    JCS cover pageThe Local Plan: Joint Core Strategy has been prepared jointly with the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA). It will guide the way in which new development, including housing and employment, will be planned up to 2028. 

    • Local Plan: Joint Core Strategy pre-submission draft  - the pre-submission draft of the Local Plan: Joint Core Strategy was made available for public representation from 3 February until 16 March 2012. 

    • Preferred policies - this was the second stage in the preparation of the Local Plan: Joint Core Strategy, following on from Issues and Options.  Consultation on the Preferred Policies document took place in 2009.

    • Issues and Options - this was the first stage in the preparation of the Local Plan: Joint Core Strategy, during which the public were asked for their comments on various issues that would affect East Hampshire in the future.

    • Sustainability Appraisal - the Sustainability Appraisal assesses the impact that the development plans set out in the Joint Core Strategy would have on the environment.
